Roots
Simpli is not invented from scratch. It is rooted in real languages and current usage.
Grammar
The grammar is inspired by Indonesian: analytic structure, no verb conjugation, no grammatical gender, optional plurals.
Vocabulary
The vocabulary is based on English—simplified and regularized.
Spelling
Regularized spelling also draws inspiration from Spanish. Spanish typically adapts loanwords to its own sound–letter norms instead of keeping English-style historical spellings—so almost any foreign word can be integrated cleanly. Simpli follows a similar idea. Example: football → futbol—the same kind of adaptation in Spanish and in Simpli.
